Cat Toy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Cat Toy Android application handles information when you use the app.

Last updated September 18, 2026Package com.namanlabs.cattoy

In summary: Cat Toy does not require an account. Game settings and play statistics are stored on your device. The app uses Google AdMob and Google’s consent platform to provide advertising and privacy controls.

1. Overview

Cat Toy is a pet-entertainment application provided by Naman Labs. The app is designed to work without user accounts and does not ask you to provide a name, email address, profile, or login in order to play.

Cat Toy stores certain game information locally on your device. It also integrates Google services for advertising and consent management. Those Google services may process information independently as described below.

2. Information stored on your device

Cat Toy stores information locally so the app can remember your preferences and game history. This includes:

  • the last selected prey;
  • game settings such as target size, session duration, sound, ambience, volume, screen-awake settings, haptics, Cat Lock, and visibility preferences;
  • whether the first-run instructions have been completed;
  • play statistics such as catches, number of sessions, session duration, and favourite prey; and
  • local counters and timestamps used to control how often interstitial ads are shown.

This information is stored using Android local storage, including DataStore and SharedPreferences. Cat Toy does not send these local gameplay records to a Naman Labs server.

3. Advertising and third-party services

Cat Toy uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display ads and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent and privacy choices where required.

The app may display:

  • banner ads on owner-facing screens;
  • interstitial ads at limited points after gameplay; and
  • rewarded ads used to unlock Mix Mode sessions.

Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process information such as IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. An IP address may also be used to infer an approximate location.

The exact information used by Google can depend on your device, region, Android settings, consent choices, ad configuration, and the type of ad served.

Consent and privacy choices

Cat Toy uses Google UMP to determine whether a consent message or privacy-options entry point is required. Where applicable, the app displays Google’s consent interface before requesting ads.

If required for your region, a Privacy Choices option is available in Cat Toy Settings so you can review or change available consent choices.

4. Device permissions

The current Cat Toy release declares the following Android permissions:

VIBRATE
Used for optional interface haptic feedback.
INTERNET
Used to load ads, consent information, and related Google services.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used to determine network availability for online services.

Cat Toy does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise device location, phone calls, SMS messages, or broad photo/file storage as part of its current functionality.

5. Data sharing

Naman Labs does not sell Cat Toy’s locally stored gameplay records and does not operate a server that receives those records.

Advertising-related information may be transmitted to Google and, depending on ad delivery, region, and consent choices, may be processed by Google or participating advertising technology providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, users, the app, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

6. Retention and deletion

Settings, gameplay statistics, and ad-frequency counters stored by Cat Toy remain on your device until they are changed or removed. You can delete this local information by clearing Cat Toy’s app storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

Information processed by Google through AdMob or UMP is subject to Google’s own retention practices and privacy controls.

7. Children’s privacy

Cat Toy is a pet-entertainment application intended for cat owners and handlers. It is not designed as a service directed to children, and the app does not ask users to create an account or submit profile information such as a name, date of birth, or email address.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information directly to Naman Labs, please contact us using the address below.

8. Security

Keeping gameplay information on your device reduces unnecessary data transmission. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No application or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide rights relating to access, deletion, correction, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent.

Cat Toy’s gameplay records are stored locally and are not uploaded to Naman Labs, so you can remove them by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app. For information processed by Google, use Google’s privacy and advertising controls.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Cat Toy’s features, advertising configuration, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL with an updated effective date.
